Berlian Dumaris Simbolon was born in Medan, Indonesia, on the May 12th 1971. She graduated from the Mathematic and the Natural Science Faculty (FMIPA), University of Sumatera Utara (S.Si., 1995), graduated from the Law Faculty, Institute of Business Law and Management (S.H., 2004).
She has attended various courses and trainings such as the Lawyer and Law Consultant Course (IKADIN, 2000), the tax training Brevet A and B at the State College of Accounting (STAN, 2007), the Course on the Business Law Contract at Legal Advanced Development Institution – Law Faculty of University of Indonesia (LPLIH-FHUI, 2007), the basic education program for the candidates of capital market legal consultants organized by the Association of Capital Market Law Consultant (HKHPM) and FHP in 2010.
She joined Suria Nataadmadja & Associates in December 1996 and handling the non-litigation cases in tax, corporate law, capital market law and bankruptcy Law. Berlian D. Simbolon has passed the examination organized by Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia/PERADI) in 2009.
